Lindsey Wagner is the Speech Language Pathologist for students 3-5 years of age. She serves students at the Developmental Preschool, Head Start Program, and other preschools. She received a Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Idaho State University in 2011.
She loves running, hiking, camping and reading. She and her husband have been married three years and have traveled to Panama. Mrs. Wagner loves knowing that her interventions are helping a child communicate and that those skills will help them their whole life. Email: [email protected] |
Janet Mundell has held positions as Speech Language Pathologist and Special Education Director. She graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Washington State University. She works with students at McDonald Elementary, St. Mary's, and West Park (K-1st grade).
When not teaching, she enjoys music, cooking, reading, gardening, crafting and doing “do-it-yourself” home improvement projects. Mrs. Mundell has two children and five grandchildren. She loves working with children and it shows in her everyday attitude. Email: [email protected] |
My name is Kris Mead and I am the speech language pathologist for 2nd grade students at West Park Elementary. I also provide services at Russell Elementary and Moscow High School.
My husband and I have lived in Moscow since 2002. I have worked as a speech language pathologist in public schools since 1988. When I am not working my husband and I enjoy traveling, skiing, golfing, reading and being with our families. We love living in Moscow and are big U of I fans! Email: [email protected] |

Rachel is the preschool paraeducator; she has 6+ years of experience working in early education, mostly with preschool ages 2-5. She continues to work on training and learning different ways to communicate with children and loves learning how to help them reach their own individual goals. She loves being able to support each child and making a difference in some small way.
Rachel has lived in Moscow for over 20 years. She & her husband have three very active and busy children. Rachel’s hobbies include cheering on her children in their many sports. When she has time to herself, she loves to read and spend time in her garden. |
Julie is the Head Start paraeducator and earned her degree in Child Development and Family Relations from the University of Idaho. She taught as a lead teacher for the Head Start program for 10 years. enjoying children with special needs she took a job here at the preschool She has been working with children in the Head Start program for many years. She works with our Head Start placements and delivers therapies for our students there with special needs.

Valerie Roberts is a SLP Paraprofessional working at McDonald Elementary and West Park. Mrs. Roberts earned an associate degree from Lewis-Clark State College. Following a career of 35 years on staff at the University of Idaho, 28 of which were serving students and faculty in the College of Graduate Studies, she retired.
Valerie believes there isn’t anything better than working with children. She is fulfilling her long time desire to work in elementary education and is excited to be a part of the Speech and Language program. |
